On June 17th, our first destination was Port Perry Farmer’s Market. The market is open on Saturdays 8:00 am – 1:00 pm. We were glad to see there our favorite vendors from last year Bowmanville Apple Festival: European Meat with their delicious pepperettes, salami and other meats,

Tyrone Mills

The Tyrone Mills, water-powered mill, was built in 1846. This place is very popular in Durham region. It’s still using water power for lumber manufacturing and flour production. Mill offers a variety of organic flour, fresh baked goods, apple cider and other products from local businesses.
