Archibald’s Orchard and Estate Winery, established in 1967, is a fourth generation family farm. This is another our favorite place. The wines range from Dry & Off Dry Table Wines to Dessert Wines. Their hard ciders are amazing. We come here often during the apple season

The Tyrone Mills, water-powered mill, was built in 1846. This place is very popular in Durham region. It’s still using water power for lumber manufacturing and flour production. Mill offers a variety of organic flour, fresh baked goods, apple cider and other products from local businesses.

We discovered this place by accident. Once upon a time, Andriy and our daughter decided to go for the ride. In Bowmanville, they found an unusual place with old cars and planes. Later we’ve learned that the owner, Ian, has restored 8 Model A Fords, built several full-sized

Pingle’s Farm Market is celebrating the thirtieth anniversary. Our relationship with this place has a long story. We started visiting this farm as soon as we moved to Oshawa. I was going there for fresh produce and our kids for fresh baked goods, especially their fudge
